For many years, I believed art and design are totally different. As a fine art undergrad, I created using a variety of media, and with touching and smelling, using my intuitive feelings. I made a hat with wool, a sculpture with wire, and an ice-cream toy with dry leaves. However, my thoughts changed while I was getting my master’s degree. Now I see that art and design have a lot in common. Art-thinking and design-thinking are different, but I believe a designer with art-thinking brings unlimited possibilities for ways of seeing. And that’s how I approach my designs.
