I used to want to be a reporter, a career whose medium of words is endowed with the power to give voice to the story. I am passionate about creating documentary works to record real social problems, especially child-oriented issues. Graphic design is a better weapon to convey ideas, considering both beauty and expressive strength. Images are worth a thousand words.
I am addicted to experiencing both the most ancient and progressive creative practices. As an undergraduate, my interest in traditional crafts paralleled my commercial design journey towards an MFA; designing with my hands and brain is as important as relying on computers and technology. This led me to explore a colorful world to stimulate my creativity from familiar things, to make reinventions.
