Ruiqi Zhou

Science helps me understand nature from many perspectives. Journalism and advertising give me new views of society and humanity, while art and design allow me to understand the power of creativity.

I have lived in many places: Hangzhou, Chengdu, Beijing, Taipei, and Los Angeles — together they formed my personality. My education is also a mix. Starting with science at high school, I earned a bachelor’s degree studying journalism and advertising, followed by a master of fine arts in graphic design. Science, literature, and art. I love them all. And many times, I find similarities between them which brings a lot of joy to me.

I never stay still. Curiosity leads me to step out of my comfort zone. I am a visual communicator, a creative thinker, and a poet.
