Spencer Kim

I'm an automotive designer focusing on exterior design studying at ArtCenter College of Design.

I consider myself a Third Culture Kid. I grew up mainly in Seoul and lived in Boston and Michigan.

I am an extrovert who loves to socialize. My interests are city planning, architecture, traveling, tech, psychology, history, film, and music.

I have developed solid concepts and suggested unique/feasible designs during my internships at Volkswagen, Ken Okuyama Design, and Byton. I have upgraded my concept development, time management, packaging, 2D to 3D translation, 3D modeling (Alias, Blender, Keyshot, VRED), and visual presentation skills working with the teams.

I'm a design strategy-minded thinker, and my main strength is the automotive sense to create new architecture and proportion while preserving the brand's DNA. I have a well-rounded personality and love to work with a team for the same goal. I want to offer as much as a young creative with fresh ideas.
