Yiou Yang

Hi, I’m Max Yang. I am a Photographer and an Advocate.  I am inspired by emotion and story and influenced by the paradoxes that live in queer culture. I record what I see, giving voice to new generations of youth and challenging the norms and traditions that exist in the conservative society. I want to establish new relationships. I want to use imagery to portray love and life,  jubilation, and despair. I create art that offers an alternative to indifference and bias, a rebellious spirit that is very much alive.
