Born in Yangzhou, China, Beatrice Wan pursued her filmmaking vision in ArtCenter College of Design. As a Los Angeles-based writer-director, she is particularly fascinated by the complexity of human emotions and unraveling them to illustrate compelling stories. Being a keen observer of interpersonal interactions, she is drawn to character-driven films and dedicated to craft narratives as such. Beatrice spends her time listening and distilling the voices around her to then immortalizing them in the form of movies.
