Zack Schlieman

Hi, my name is Zack Schlieman. I tell a visual story that examines the tools of modern life and how we interact with technology in our daily lives. Blending photography and installation, I want to examine design systems that aren’t human-centered, and reframe the conversation to encourage big-picture thinking with solutions for a future where people come first. It concerns me as a designer how these systems perpetuate themselves, and my work offers solutions that function within existing systems to empower the individual to think critically, and challenge status quos.
