Raya Poster Series

This was a four poster series that I created for Design 2: Structure & Color. We were asked to create a final project based on one of these five concept words -- Nest, Escapism, Boundaries, Connections, Isolation along with a design principle. I chose to do my posters on the word, "Connection" and the design principle "Unity with Variety." I thought about how people in present time "connected." Thus, I created a dating and networking apps poster series that represented each season.
Learning Outcomes:
Through the criteria of choosing a design concept and the word "connection," I learned to think beyond my comfort zone on how I can visually communicate the word "connection." Since there were two criterias, a chosen concept and a design principle, I also learned how to be able to create a work that expressed not only its meaning but the function of the project as well.
