LACMA: The Cool Wave

This assignment was to create a short promotion video for LACMA: "The Cool Wave" that focuses on the theme of psychedelic movement which was present in 1960 and 1970. Guillaume gave us an opportunity to explore and learn the historical background of psychedelic art as well.
Learning Outcomes:
For this project, I used a variety of mediums including After Effect animation, collage, and green screens. It was challenging to combine these different mediums together, however, I was able to understand and explore the function of the different mediums as the week progresses. The green screen helped me to create a scene where I combined the real object and After Effect animation together in one scene. I also gained more understanding of the history of psychedelic art from 1960-70.
