Hopeless Restraint

The film represents the spirit of my zine, Hopeless Restraint, through imagery and sound. It is created by using a projector to project The Society of the Spectacle (a film by Guy Debord, founder of Situationist International) on myself as I complete my experimental makeup on camera. The sound was inspired by old film scratches and Guy Debord's film. There are also audios of glitches to connect with the video glitches that are created through editing (to show close up of the makeup process).
Learning Outcomes:
Exploring creative ideas that fit with the context. The context of this film is very important because it acts as a trailer to the zine. This can be achieved through actively writing down elements found in the zine, and then write down concepts for the film as I look at the elements listed.
