The Moth: Opposing Forces

The concept is about the false perception of good vs. evil. The gift that the commander gave Martha to thank her for pulling out his son’s bad tooth shows that even though people might be initially portrayed as hateful, they are also capable of showing gratitude and kindness. The merging of the birds is a metaphor for how we shouldn’t be labeled as one or the other; we are both.
