Visions of war (in-progress)

Experimental typography class; Vision of war showcases the art in early 20th century to contemporary era that is relevant to the war from ww1 to Ukraine war. The visual concept for this book is the voice and boldness of the typography that presents how artists express and make a voice to the war. And also vertical timeline showing in the book and poster is the visual key of which war the artists/artwork responding to that helps viewers to understand the historical background immediately.
Learning Outcomes:
It helped me to think more of a "printing" and "binding" process since I could play more with the unique binding and paper to explore even more in the printing media. And also I'm combining this class with archetype class that will help me to access to the real texture of the bold woodblock type that was actually used in 20th century as a main printing medium.
