"Ocean" haiku

In this project, we used chat gpt to write haiku with different subjects and I chose to work with haiku about ocean. Using this haiku, I worked with metal types which give crisp and sophisticated shapes and explored with layouts and different elements that can be used in the press such as wave lines that resonate to the "ocean"
Learning Outcomes:
This was fun learning start since it was my first time of working with metal type that was working out of the computer, back to the analog process. From measuring and checking the typographic details like typo and alignments to make a perfect piece, I am feeling confident more working with types not only from the press, but also in the digital process.
