In the space of the beginning and the end (2023)

Is the feeling of loneliness/solitude a bad thing? I don't perceive it that way. Enjoying this moment of tranquility in the midst of this vast environment, and relishing the sounds of nature, is one of my greatest pleasures right now. At Gallery 870, these two photographs are displayed in two different gardens. Coincidentally, the sounds from the other side of the wall create sound effects while audiences appreciate the work.

The passing vehicles create the sound of waves crashing (west side studio garden).
Quietness in the space makes audiences feel they're also isolated in that environment (east side studio garden).
