Source Material 05: Ways of Mapping

How would you make a map of a location? Is it topographical, physical, or navigational? Issue 05: Ways of Mapping pays homage to the practice of map-making. In the same vein as countermapping, Source Material invites students and alumni to reinterpret conventional maps in both subjective and objective ways. Learning Outcomes:
I collaborated with editors on the concept/design of the publication, custom Nalgene bottle, geographical anomalies map, and release party installation. This issue is 30 pages, 100 copies, and was assembled by hand. I presented the idea of doing a scavenger hunt for the release party event, and the students were gifted a limited Nalgene bottle and a map poster as a prize.
