Chi - Visual Development Portfolio

A mother who recently suffered the lose of their infant child, discovers a chimera child - Chi - abandoned in the woods. As they grow older, the urge to return to the wild strains the mother-child relationship, and the mother must decide whether to let their child go or force them to stay. Done in Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint.
Learning Outcomes:
I had a lot of fun developing a more feature-like story that would be self containing in a single story arc rather than spanning over the course of a couple of seasons. This forced me to be more selective with the characters I wanted to create and what environments would be necessary to tell this kind of story.
