Lessons and Legacy

Lessons and Legacy® is a set of custom playing cards commemorating the importance and achievements of baseballs Negro league majors. The set features augmented reality to connect society with the history of the Negro league majors in an entertaining way. In aims to reach a broader audience, the cards will be a giveaway item across MLB ball parks on Jackie Robinson day or exclusively available for purchase at the Negro leagues baseball museum for an intended price point of $400.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned to approach a complex subject with a sense of both cultural and practical context. I learned how to use history and research to create a visual language. I learned how to use Adobe Aftereffects with Spark AR Studio to elevate a brand / packaging design project with use of augmented reality.
