Zebulon Redesign

The redesign of Zebulon, an LA venue with deep NYC roots, utilized polygons to highlight its inclusive ethos, weaving these forms into every facet of its identity to showcase its role as a sanctuary for diverse artistic expressions. This strategic choice went beyond mere aesthetics, aiming to create a space that celebrates diversity and fosters a genuine sense of belonging, making Zebulon a dynamic hub for music, movies, and art enthusiasts from all walks of life.
Learning Outcomes:
Through Zebulon's redesign process, I learned the significance of incorporating geometric shapes like polygons to visually communicate inclusivity and community. This approach deepened my understanding of how design can influence perception and interaction within a space. It emphasized the importance of thoughtful visual strategies in enhancing the venue's identity and reinforcing its mission as a gathering place for varied expressions and connections.
