Hakone Före offers a peaceful getaway, influenced by the calmness of Sweden and the cultural heritage of Hakone. The rebranding highlights a unity of innovation, cultural appreciation, and nature. The term "före" is a Swedish word that translates to "forward." In the context of Hakone Retreat Före, it represents a brand-new resort experience that is not confined by traditional concepts or categories of the hotel industry.
Learning Outcomes:
The project taught me valuable lessons about refining designs through iteration. We spent time perfecting the logo and postcards, showing the importance of persistence. Creativity and experimentation were crucial, even when mistakes occurred. By establishing consistent design patterns, we could quickly apply them to posters, zines, and the website.
