Non-Literal Photos

These are a series of non-literal photos for various prompts. The goal was to photograph the ideas metaphorically rather than in a normal or obvious display of the idea. Thinking outside of the box is key.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how to think more metaphorically about simple ideas and put in effort into not making things so literal. Even though it is more of a challenge, I learned that I quite enjoy trying to photograph metaphorically. To me, it feels like a puzzle that I need to solve in order to see the bigger picture of the idea.
For this image, I highlighted my biggest loss, which is freedom when I was younger. I always felt stuck inside when everyone else was gaining experiences and so I wanted to represent that metaphorically.
My dark side is that I am constantly overthinking everything. This causes a lot of turmoil within me and I always feel like there is a cloud of thoughts floating around me. So this is a visual representation of how it feels when I'm overthinking.
