Sigur Rós Music Poster

I designed the music poster for Sigur Rós live album "INNI". From listening to their album, I wrote down five keywords describing their music: soundscape, subtle, hopeful, magnificence, haze. For the image, I captured the beauty of light reflection through color glasses to resonate with the hopeful and hazy sound. And for the typography, the Ogg typeface works well with their sophisticated serif design to show the subtleness of their music.
Learning Outcomes:
Playing with light reflections through glasses was a worthful experience to observe more of the beauty of the light effects and capture them for my image-making since I haven't work with photography in the past. Music poster with expressive photograph was very helpful to learn how to crop images and create type layouts for a strong composition. Also, I learned a lot about using colors since there are four different colors of light, which challenges me to pick the type colors for their sound.
