The Wild Life -- ArtCenter Capstone

Design and Produce a completed animated short. ArtCenter's longest Capstone to date. Starring JAVIER GRAJEDA (AMC's BETTER CALL SAUL) as Hank Zakarian, a rifleman who's lost his way, and VAL HOBBS as Tanya, Hank's friend who needs to hear the truth. The film is a love letter to LA's North Valley and a send up of classic crime comics.
Learning Outcomes:
Completing a twelve minute film from start to finish in a little under six months is a monumental feat. Coordinating my team and working with my mentors strengthened my communication and management skills. I learned to trust my gut, make hard calls, and pick up slack where others needed a break. We learned to organize production, keep momentum and motivate our volunteers and enrolled students to finish their work on time and under consistent Art Direction.
