It's Everywhere!

Even when we think that the food we eat is clean and high-end, there are still possibilities of it containing micro-plastics. This sequence aims to invite the audience to question what is in all their foods and everything we consume into our bodies. The idea that there are microplastics everywhere, including in foods we eat, is represented by the process of a chef preparing a fine dining Omakase sushi that has plastic pieces in it.
Learning Outcomes:
In this team project, my teammate, Jacqueline Huang, and I focused on empowering people to make choices and feel a sense of responsibility for nature and community. We did this by going through multiple iterations to show an uncomfortable juxtaposition of cleanliness in the restaurant environment and the contamination in the food.
