BFA in Graphics — Graphic DesignBlue Note Jazz Festival (WIP)
This is a self-initiated project for Blue Note Jazz Festival; an annual jazz festival that takes place in June in various venues across New York City. The identity system is designed with replacing Os into different graphic shapes that communicate music, rhythm, vinyls, etc.
Learning Outcomes:
I embarked on researching this project by immersing myself in jazz music, listening attentively, and feeling its rhythms. I studied the history, watched documentaries, and explored movies related to the era and the cultural foundation of the label and jazz music. My challenge is to reflect the history and voices of the artists who have shaped the legacy of jazz and Blue Note.
