Bauhaus Vending Machine

For this final students were assigned to pick two interesting topics and find a way to make a statement that merged the topics. I’ve always been interested in the Bauhaus and also the future of vending machines after watching videos on youtube. Bauhaus Vending Machine is a statement on how common Bauhaus design is in our world today and how prevalent it is, that you could practically buy the founding concepts/ideals like a product in a vending machine.
Learning Outcomes:
Conceptually, this final was a big challenge in merging two seemingly unrelated interests together. Each week I changed directions, and it took a lot of perseverance to find a direction that I could do technically and made sense to the average viewer. Going into this class I had no previous motion design experience, and it was an entirely different way of thinking about design than I have done before.
