PETRICHOR

Located on the coastline of Lopez Island in the Pacific Northwest is Petrichor, a new vernacular architecture that combines ecology, artists, and tourism to be in the natural environment, local economy, and unique craft culture. Petrichor is a space that acts as a vortex, attracting all aspects of local culture. It combines architecture, art, and community. Newer generations to the island can look to this space as a center to form connections and immerse themselves in island life.
