Concert Posters for the Cramps

Illustrated concert posters designed for the band the Cramps. For one design I chose to replicate the screen printed look that contemporary punk posters had during the time that the Cramps were in their prime. For the second poster, I chose a more modern look that aligned slightly more with my style.
Learning Outcomes:
This product taught me how to advertise something without outright saying it. Tour posters don't always rely on depicting an artist's face to get your attention, in fact, some of the most famous ones don't have people on them at all. For these posters, I had to channel the overall vibe that the band gave out, rather than copying their likenesses.
I took inspiration from vintage punk posters for this piece. The screen printed look really adds something to the entire grunge aesthetic for me.
