Seeing Time

How do we see time? This motion graphics visualizes my answer to this question, and compares it to others’: I quite literally see it as a horseshoe shaped loop that is always around me; others don’t visualize it at all. I sought to portray a range of different perspectives, so I interviewed close friends and family around me.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned to bring concepts and narratives designed on Illustrator to life in After Effects. I also learned to put together a pitch deck, starting from formulating a goal, putting together research and storyboards, revising, and polishing for presentation.

In the initial storyboard, there was less clarity as to what was being illustrated/demonstrated. To make the narrative clearer, I added short captions that the viewer can follow along with.
I sketched to figure out what each scene would look like, as well as how certain aspects would transition into each other.
