In the film, the elites are showered with extravagance and given special treatments, while the poor only have roaches to feed on. Through concept of "food," the sequence highlights the varying perspectives of how the rich and poor perceive each other. The 3D rendered fruit is shocased in different perspectives and finally reveals the rotten part only on the top view perspective.
