Tiamat's Oasis

Background painting I worked on for the class, a piece of concept art for the fighting game project I'm working on. wanted to go for a vibrant oasis in the middle of a rough desert, ruins loosely based off of Mesopotamian architecture long forgotten.
Learning Outcomes:
I wanted to challenge myself and do a vibrant background. really focused on how the shapes for each object will relate to each other. I'm still getting use to background illustration, but this was definitely a huge step forward.
