Otter‘s Secrets

This is a handcrafted embroidery featuring a playful sea otter surrounded by the traditional Chinese plants "plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum." The sea otter is lively and charming, while the plants symbolize resilience, elegance, integrity, and serenity, showcasing a harmonious blend of nature and cultural heritage.
Learning Outcomes:
Through this project, I learned patience and the importance of craftsmanship. It deepened my appreciation for traditional Chinese culture and taught me how to blend different elements, like the sea otter and the plants, into a harmonious design. It also showed me the power of storytelling through art.
