Illustrations

Illustration works I made inspired by otters, nature, my dreams, everyday life, and imbued with stories and ideas I find fascinating and fun!
Image
Otter-ly Beautiful - A two layered wood block print. The floral designs and shapes were inspired by paint-mailing and art nouveau.
Image
The Candy Monster - This piece is based on a dream where this creature offered candy to me, I declined.
Image
Hidden City Cafe - A piece created with the idea it could be used in the set setting of Monster's Ink. I used a cafe we see briefly in the movie as inspiration.
Image
Painted Nails - A procreate piece I created with the idea of a monster getting their nails done, It makes me laugh.
Image
The Tall "Woman" - A piece I made using colored pencils and Illustrator. I wanted to capture the feeling of a child's coloring book depicting a monster, but with an artistic touch.
Image
Stuffed Otter In The Rain - I discovered a technique that allowed me to create rain drops by removing some of the oil pastel.
