THE URBAN SQUEEZE

I've always lived in cities—born in Seoul, with family in Hong Kong and New York, and now studying graphic design in L.A. Growing up, I observed urban life up close. I designed a book capturing city congestion—New York’s towering apartments, Hong Kong’s packed homes, Tokyo’s subway pushmen, and L.A.’s traffic jams. From above, these chaotic scenes simplify into geometric patterns. Amid this order, I find traces of humanity—imperfect yet visually striking.
