Redesigning LOST LA
LOST LA is a show that uncovers the history of Southern California with photos, documents, and other rare artifacts that are kept and hidden. Through this archival material in Season 1 Episode 3, "Reshaping L.A." the information and history become alive by documentary storytelling with a variety of topics within Los Angeles. This logo is underdesigned and does not communicate with its history. The new logo communicates dots resembling headlights of shows, cars, and the bright city of LA.
Learning Outcomes:
By doing these projects, I learned to keep a consistent theme throughout all of the projects to create a unified brand. The dots worked really well within my design to symbolize the entirety of the show. While doing so, I learned to use dots digitally and hand-made ways to help illustrate my advertisement.
