Quiet Minds, Shared Space
This series explores the idea of shared physical space versus private inner experience. It was inspired by a moment I had while drawing in a cafe — I noticed how everyone was sitting together, side by side, yet each person was completely absorbed in their own world of thoughts, emotions, or distractions. I wanted to capture that quiet contrast: how we can be together, but each person is experiencing something totally unique inside. It’s about invisible stories coexisting in the same moment.
Learning Outcomes:
In this piece, I developed my watercolor technique, especially in layering and transparency to create mood. I also learned how to express abstract ideas — like people sharing space while living different mental experiences — through visual storytelling.
