70s Baseball Cards

This series of drawings started out of a fascination with the uniforms and the facial hair of baseball players during the 1970s. However as the series progressed I found that many of the players had really interesting backgrounds and myths surrounding them. So the project turned into an exploration of these almost fictional characters and making cards based on the tall tales that surround them.
