National Hollerin' Contest

Hollerin’ is the ancient art of communication that predates the telephone, used by farmers to send messages across fields. ‍ The National Hollerin' Contest is an event which takes place yearly in Spivey’s Corner, North Carolina aimed at preserving and promoting this tradition.
