Soldier in Duty is a first-person tactical shooter prototype where players take on the role of a lone elite sniper. Using drone reconnaissance and stealth tactics, players must eliminate targets one by one in hostile environments filled with heavily armed enemies. The game emphasizes information control, environmental awareness, and real-time decision-making, creating a tense and strategic combat experience.
Learning Outcomes:
By introducing a drone reconnaissance system, I learned how to use information asymmetry to influence player decision-making and provide tactical advantages. This information-driven pacing helped me understand the design philosophy behind slow-paced yet high-tension tactical gameplay.
