Lumos is a next-generation AR system that enhances outdoor exploration by making navigation, species identification, and safety intuitive and engaging. It underwent multiple rounds of user testing to refine readability, glanceability, and information hierarchy, while revealing critical differences between paper prototypes and AR glasses in scale, positioning, and user perception.
