Bliss
The first of a series of visual development paintings following a young peasant girl who is enamored with a beautiful dress displayed in a boutique and is then compelled to fabricate her own kind of luxury.
Process:
I first sketched out characters and then drew thumbnails. After that, I picked one that I thought conveyed the story the best and did color keys out of which I took one and then I rendered out into a full painting digitally.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how to work with storytelling images that could convey emotion with the environment and characters.
