Sound and Science
Sound and Science is a digital archive for the history of acoustics. It preserves and shares the global evolution of acoustic knowledge, tracing where science, culture, and art intersect. The archive transforms rare materials such as texts, images, recordings, and reconstructions into accessible visuals and stories.
This project highlights how scientific data can visualize sound across different fields, revealing the patterns and forms behind what we hear. Instead of functioning as a traditional search tool, it becomes an explorable space that shows how sound and science shape the ways we see, hear, and perhaps feel.
