A self exploration on my perspective as a child navigating life through the lens of a Mexican-American raised in an English speaking household.

Process:

Experimenting with masking tape to create sharp clean lines for areas in the painting I wanted to be more graphic. Continuing with my process of painting with diluted acrylic on wood panel.

Learning Outcomes:

I learned that painting large scale brings me joy and fulfillment because of the amount of space this triptych takes up in a room.
