My Dear Florence

A visual development project that followed the prompt: A character in a bookstore gets sucked into a book, transporting them to a brand new world.

Process:

for this project, we would do many value studies and composition iterations, then move onto color, then to finish. A key aspect of this project was research, making sure the the real world and the fantasy worlds were both designed with real world elements in mind.

Learning Outcomes:

To understand story, composition, and how color affects them.
