Inspired by The Giving Tree and the song If by Pink Floyd, this project explores quiet symbolism and introspective storytelling. The semiotic role of the apple tree in The Giving Tree influenced my approach to narrative, where meaning is suggested rather than directly stated. I was interested in creating a character whose identity and motivations remain largely unknown, allowing the viewer to understand only what the character understands about itself. This idea guided my story about a robot who ultimately becomes an astronaut, unfolding toward a similarly reflective and bittersweet conclusion.
