Maple Sans

Maple Sans is a retro typeface with an Art Nouveau aesthetic, available in two weights: Regular and Bold. It has a distinctive sense of movement, with flowing lines and rhythmic forms, making it especially suitable for music, party, and other expressive poster designs.

Learning Outcomes:

This project explores how different weights can be developed within one typeface family, as well as the design strategies used to articulate visual variation across weights. It also examines how to preserve the core characteristics of the typeface while maintaining consistency and coherence across the overall system.
