The Best of The Worst

A character acting / design based project focused on telling a story through relationships and visuals. The project focuses on an orphan desperate to earn the approval of a family of nobles by slaying the most powerful pirate lord in the sea by working with a group of bounty hunters, only to learn that the one he's been hunting treats him with more respect than any of the nobles back at home.

Process:

Assigned with the task of creating a story with 10+ characters total, I created a main cast of six as well as eight side characters and created a narrative around them in order to tell a complex and compelling story.

Learning Outcomes:

Creating relatable / visually interesting characters, completing  a rich narrative where each character is relevant to the story and showing emotional depth within my own visual storytelling.
