Artificial Atmosphere

LA RAIN is a generative film study of how AI models construct atmosphere through weather. Using repeated photographic and video source material, the project observes how rain, haze, glow, and depth are transformed into expressive visual effects rather than physically coherent events. Instead of reproducing reality, the project explores how generative systems create images that achieve plausibility through atmosphere, cinematic intensity, and visual coherence. In this way, weather becomes not only an environmental condition, but also a projection of inner perception.
