AMPD Festival

AMPD celebrates Asian rock culture through its history, its energy, and its place in the contemporary American landscape. Set in Los Angeles, the festival brings together music, identity, and community in a city where cultural convergence is foundational to everything it produces.

Process:

I wanted the posters to weave together Asian languages of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, and Indonesian into a sticker system that is both attention-grabbing, but also informative as a guide to the festival.

Prints bring the AMPD spirit to one’s everyday life that extends beyond the duration of the festival. With the custom sticker pack, I transferred the act of “bombing” electrifying energy in reality.
