The Growing Decay

A generative typography system extended into a projection-mapped installation that visualizes ocean heat as an expanding force.

This project combines a p5.js-based generative typography system with a spatial installation, translating 32 years of ocean heat data into both screen and physical space. Numeric forms dissolve and spread into an organic diffusion system that intensifies over time. As the projection expands across a layered surface, data shifts from readable information into an invasive, overwhelming presence.
