M.E.L.T.
M.E.L.T. is an exhibition that explores how simple materials can transform through heat, light, and time. It focuses on the process of glassmaking, where sand is exposed to high temperatures and turns into a glowing liquid before slowly cooling into clear, solid glass.
This transformation shows how energy can become form, and how light can exist within a material. The exhibition connects science and art by highlighting the beauty of this process and the changes that happen over time. More than just a physical process, “melt” also represents change, letting go, and renewal. Through this idea, M.E.L.T. invites viewers to see glass not just as an object, but as a result of movement, energy, and time coming together.
